With the holiday season upon us, there is so much to do including holiday shopping and planning parties to entertain family and guests.

With this being so busy and hectic, it’s easy to say that stress can run high! But no worries, stress can be easily reduced, and doing so between the holidays will help you take on the festivities better. Here are three easy tips for you to reduce stress in the comfort of your own home!
Decompress: Wrap a warm towel around your neck for 10 – 15 minutes while lying on your back. Keep your eyes closed and relax your upper body, including chest, neck, shoulders, and face. After 10 to 15 minutes of using the wrapped towel, remove the towel and use a tennis ball to massage your neck and shoulders by rolling it against your skin. Don’t have a tennis ball? That’s ok! You may also use a foam roller or any smooth object that isn’t too hard. Consider having a facial mask while you relax with the towel for even more stress relief! Visit the Terme Di Aroma boutique for a variety of facial masks.

Bath Soak: There’s a reason why many enjoy bath soaks! Not only are they great for stress reduction, but a bath soak can help with rejuvenating your skin, especially during those harsh cold winter months, and it can help with relieving muscle tensions. Bath salts are great for bath soaks because they have the ingredients that not only help the skin feel nourished, but they also have calming scents that can help relieve some stress by relaxing the mind and body.

Massage: A massage is especially great after a bath soak. Since it’s important to moisturize your skin, now especially that it’s the season for dry skin, use conditioning body cream while massaging your legs, arms, shoulders, and neck. Apply the conditioning cream in a circular motion to your body to help promote circulation and hydration of the skin. Continue moving your hands in a circular motion with slight pressure to ensure that you loosen muscles. You’ll feel great in minutes!

Prevent the stress from the hectic holidays by trying these tips ahead of time. If you do them all in one day, the results will be even better!
